WHO ARE STUDIO SOMETHING?

Studio Something are a creative agency on a mission to make something people genuinely like.

Our business is three-fold; creative, broadcast & production and ventures. We deliver everything from brand strategy through creative ideation and production delivery for clients such as Innis & Gunn, Ustwo games, Coca-Cola and See Me. We produce A View From the Terrace, “the best football show on UK television by far” for BBC Scotland, as well as incubate ideas for brands and products in their own right.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: A PROJECT MANAGER

As Project Manager at Studio Something your primary responsibility is the smooth running of content production and projects, from briefing to delivery. You’ll establish and manage the day-to-day processes that keep all projects on track costs and timing wise. You’ll do this with meticulous attention to detail and clear communication with both internal and external teams.

Ideally we’re looking for someone with minimum 3–4 years experience.

SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• In-depth knowledge and understanding of project management and production processes
• Accountability for delivering concurrent projects on time and within budget
• Creating detailed timelines for project delivery, keeping these up to date of any changes
• Ability to scope projects and provide budget breakdowns for internal and client sign off
• Communication of project status updates
• Planning and booking of internal and external resources
• Organisation and management of weekly workflow, resource and status documents and meetings
• Understanding of agency finance process to drive profitability of productions
• Track production and freelance expenditure
• Flexibility and resilience to adapt to changing needs
• A can do attitude; able to trouble-shoot, overcome obstacles and find smart solutions
• Continually review process and where it can be improved to benefit the team
• Lead asset management / archiving of agency materials
• A calm and positive attitude, especially under pressure
• A team player who is willing to roll their sleeves up
• Strong written and verbal communication
